During 1998 season, the 1994 World Rally Champion, Didier Auriol, was still an official Toyota driver. He is now at the wheel of the Corolla WRC. After a mixed start to the season, the Frenchman returned to the Catalan asphalt with great enthusiasm. On the second stage, he set the fastest time and took first place overall.
