Otto Mobile 1/18 Honda NSX Mugen 1993
The NSX, unveiled at the 1990 Chicago Auto Show, represents Honda's foray into the high-performance sports car segment, aiming to rival the prominent European models of the 1980s and 1990s. Marketed as the Acura NSX in North America and the Honda NSX in other markets, it garnered considerable success, although it faced challenges in Europe. Developed with significant input from Formula 1 champion Ayrton Senna, the NSX served as a technological flagship for Honda. Subsequently, the Japanese tuning firm Mugen enhanced the NSX, delivering a more performance-oriented variant. The Mugen edition features distinctive upgrades, including a redesigned rear bumper, a prominent rear spoiler, an F1-inspired engine cover, and bespoke wheels, all contributing to its enhanced performance and unique aesthetic.
