In January 1984, Porsche presented a group B version of the 911. Called the 911 SC / RS, the car was lightened to the extreme, with aluminum body parts. The SC / RS was equipped with a 280 horsepower 3-liter engine and weighed 980 kg. Produced in 22 units, it was used mainly in rallies.
