The BMW M3 E46 has the difficult task of replacing the successful icons E30 and E36. This third generation of the 3 Series is presented as a Grand Touring coupé. At the beginning of the new millennium, this E46 was very quickly successful. As with the two previous generations, BMW offers a sporty version of the E46 called the M3.
