In the 2002 World Rally Championship season, the little 206 is already a double constructors' world champion! The French team engaged two full-time drivers (Marcus Grönholm and Richard Burns), but could also count on Harri Rovanperä and Gilles Panizzi for most of the season. At the Tour of Corsica, the French driver has a revenge to take on Citroën! After losing out to Jesus Puras in 2001, Gilles Panizzi delivered a perfect performance on the 2002 edition of the famous island rally. He dominated the event from start to finish, giving the 206 its 14th WRC victory!
