Released in 1972, the internally named W116 model series represented the pinnacle of automotive engineering. No competitor model combined as many attributes as the S-Class for the 1970s. With the introduction of the 6.9 litre engine in 1975, the saloon achieved performance levels that were otherwise reserved for pure sports cars.

Our model represents the S-Class that oil tycoon J.R. Ewing used as his vehicle in the third season of the extremely popular and successful TV series ‘Dallas’. In addition to the typical US bumpers and headlights, the silver-green model is also adorned with the correct licence plate.
