French Rally Champion (S1600 category) in 2003, Simon Jean-Joseph was promoted to the next level for the following year. Still driving his Renault Clio Super1600, the Martinique-born driver impressed with his consistent start to the season. In the Czech Republic, at the famous Barum Czech Rally Zlin, he claimed his very first victory of the season. It was also his first international success. It was a further step towards the 2004 European Rally Championship title! With this title, he enters the legend of French rallying.
