Less popular than the 4L, the R5 or the Clio, the R6 was nevertheless a great success. With more than one million seven hundred thousand units sold, the hatchback has everything to please: practical, economical, it is the worthy little sister of the 4L. In fact, the two cars have a lot in common, especially from a mechanical point of view. The R6 TL Phase 2 is distinguished by its plastic grille, which replaced the metal 'sixties' version from 1973.
